Shield Ferns, consisting of a selection of six assorted plants, they are incredibly useful for creating localised humid areas in a reptiles’ enviroment. They can be planted in the substrate. These plants are suitable for both arboreal (tree-dwelling) and terrestrial (ground-dwelling) species. Shield Ferns are a slow growing plant. They thrive when used in conjunction with an Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED light, which provides suitable lighting conditions for their growth. When incorporating Shield Ferns into an enclosure, they can be placed in their existing pots or planted directly into the substrate. They are also suitable for use in bioactive setups when used in conjunction with HabiStat Jungle Bio and Amazon Clay Balls.
